International seminar

In Tirana, on April 26, 2017 will take place an international seminar, in which will participate publishers, EU experts (from Italy, Portugal, Greece, Croatia), representatives of public and private institutions, cultural and educational ones, teachers, bookshops, readers, journalists, etc. The seminar will be a good opportunity for exchange of experiences and improving professional cooperation, peer learning, but also for the better training of book operators. In this seminar, among others issues, will be discussed and compared even the data derived from the survey in the three countries.

 

In Tirana, on April 26, 2017, was held an International Seminar, with the participation of publishers, EU experts (from Italy, Portugal, Greece, Croatia), representatives of public and private institutions, cultural and educational ones, teachers, bookshops, readers, journalists, etc.  The seminar was a great opportunity for sharing experiences and improving professional co-operation among peers, as well as for better training of book operators. Among many other issues, the results of reading surveys in all three countries, Albania, Macedonia and Italy, were discussed and discussed in this seminar. This workshop was attended to by the media and cultural and educational institutions in Tirana. “Reading is an activity of essential importance to the individual and society, an activity that depends on the future of society not only in the cultural but also in the economic aspect”, so it should be a concern of society and, in the first place, of policymakers “Said Petrit Ymeri, director of Sh.B.DITURIA and director of the project, in the paper titled: Children’s Literature published in Albania: Problems and Trends / How has the Children’s Book Market changed in Albania?
