04 May Book Festival in Padula from 12 to 14 May – Press Conference
he S.V. is invited on May 5 at 12″00, at the headquarters of the Department of Education and Social Policies, isola A6 del Centro direzionale di Napol, at the press conference to present the first edition of the Book Festival scheduled in Padula from 12 to May 14th.
“All books are important” is the title of the first of the three itinerant editions (after Padula will be the turn of Skopje and Tirana) of the Festival of the Book, organized by the nonprofit Agenzia Arcipelago Onlus, with the patronage of the Assembly of Education and Social Policies of the Campania Region and the collaboration of the Padula Municipal Council for Culture and Lions Club Padula Certosa di Padula.
The event will, for three days, present thirty events between meetings, seminars and conferences with authors, writers and designers, musical performances, reading labs aloud and creative writing under Angela La Torre, responsible for the European project and coordination of psychologist Giuseppe Errico.
The Campania Region has decided to support this extraordinary cultural and social event that will see the fascinating Certosa of San Lorenzo in Padula, Patrimonio Unesco, transform into a large library open to the children of Campania and the schools, putting in we collaborate with our country with Macedonia and Albania. This is an important opportunity to rediscover the value of reading at an age when our kids prefer video games and the internet to a good book, “commented Fortini, who will host the press conference.
The Festival will also be greeted by the Mayor of Padula Paolo Imparato, the President of Agenzia Arcipelago Onlus Angela La Torre and other guests (psychologist Giuseppe Errico, Prof. Vincenzo Onorato, Lions Club Padula Certosa San Lorenzo).
